Yes, Big Robot is going to make a game featuring robots. It’s called Sir, You Are Being Hunted, and it taps into a rich seam of tweed-loving British science fiction to conjure a sinister reality where artificial gentlemen hunt humans for sport.
Hunted is set in a recognisably British landscape. Its inhabitants are a mockery of the aristocratic country gent and his ecosystem. Robots that ape tea-drinking, poachers that lurk in reed-beds, and red-eyed hounds that patrol the moor: these are the things you will be dealing with as you fight for survival. The game gathers up elements of my favourite things: exploration, AI interaction, survival, robots, hot drinks, and blends them into a rich pixelly pulp. (A “British indie S.T.A.L.K.E.R.” might have been something we said in the design meetings…).

Sir, You Are Being Hunted is an open world survival stealth video game in development by Big Robot for Microsoft Windows, Mac OS, and Linux. An alpha version of the game was made available on 19 August 2013.
Gameplay
The player hides from robots patrolling a town, watching them from afar using binoculars.
In Sir, You Are Being Hunted, players will have to survive from 'Hunters' (robots dressed as Victorian gentlemen) who are trying to track down and kill them, whilst attempting to escape from an island. Players will be required to scavenge towns and villages for items such as food and weapons to help them survive whilst collecting rune stones in order to escape the island. If the robots find a rune stone, they will set up sentries around it to defend it from the player. The game's enemies will utilise dogs and balloons in order to find the player.
The island played on is procedurally generated, meaning that every playthrough will generate a different landscape. It is populated with villages, towns and other areas where the player can find essential supplies.

Sir, You Are Being Hunted est un Survival horror en 3D dépeignant une réalité sordide dans laquelle des gentlemens artificiels chassent les humains pour le sport.
Le monde dans lequel évolue ses protagonistes se nomme Lodestone, c'est un monde dynamique et ouvert : ses décors sont générés de manière procédurale.
Ils ressemblent à des paysages Britanniques. Ses habitants en parodient la gent aristocratique des campagnes et leur écosystème.
Les robots singent les buveurs de thé, les braconniers se cachent dans des roselières, et des chiens aux yeux rouge patrouillent dans la lande.
Le jeu rassemble des éléments chères à ses auteurs en les mélangeant intimement : l'exploration, une interraction avec des IAs, la survie, des robots et des boissons chaudes.

Le studio est parvenu à lever les fonds nécessaire sur le site Kickstarter, le jeu est à présent disponible à la vente.
Kickstarter est un site de sponsoring de projets permettant - en ce qui concerne les jeux, aux joueurs et aux développeurs de financer le développement de jeux sans le carcan des maisons d'édition. Les studios obtiennent le pré-financement de leur production, les joueurs bénéficient d'avantages proportionnels au montant de leur participation (tarif avantageux, personnalisations, ...) sans garantie de résultat.
